AKA (BEO) Scholarships for Seniors (2017)

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated-Beta Epsilon Omega Chapter is excited to again offer scholarships to the students in the graduating Class of 2017. 

 

Please share the attached scholarship applications with qualified high school students.  Together with their families and school counselor/teacher, student applicants should carefully read each application and attend to application requirements for supporting documentation prior to submitting the application.  Please be advised, however, that applicants may only apply in one scholarship category.

Frances M. Duvall Scholarship Application

Multiple one-year scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 will be awarded to high school students with a 3.0 GPA and 19 ACT/940 SAT score in the General, ASCEND, EAF, OBS, TIC, and Sorority Legacy sub-categories.

Fannie Spence Leake Scholarship Application

One one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 will be awarded to a high school student with a 3.0 GPA and 19 ACT/940 SAT score who demonstrates evidence of twenty (20) hours of community service.

EAF Leola Collins Scholarship Application

One renewable four-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 each year will be awarded to a high school student with a 2.5 GPA and 19 ACT/940 SAT score who demonstrates a financial need and will be attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).

ALL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY FEBRUARY 24, 2017
