TEMPORARY CONTACT TRACING REPRESENTATIVE

This new role is responsible for communicating via phone with individuals who have tested positive for an infectious disease or may have come into contact with a positive case. As a Contact Tracing Representative, you will assist with tracing the known contacts of a positive case and then subsequently communicate with known contacts to notify of potential exposure and connect the individual with public health information and services including testing. Contact tracing interviews/phone calls will consist of ascertaining cases and contacts’ symptoms and risk, gathering further information on exposure, providing guidance on minimizing their risk of potential transmission, explaining the contacts’ quarantine responsibility and the details and processes for contact monitoring. These efforts will lead to more targeted testing, improved communication with individuals in the community, a more successful implementation of quarantine, and ultimately, better health. The duration of this temporary role will be 3-12 months, depending on business need.

Training Schedule: Thursday, 7/23 – Sunday, 7/26 – 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. CST

Memphis Redbirds Seasonal Job Fair at AutoZone Park

Girl Scouts Heart of the South is seeking a temporary, part-time candidate to assist with cookie distribution, retail and customer service duties in our Memphis TN, office.

 

Brief Summary:

  • Assist with cookie distribution to volunteers both indoors and outdoors
  • Acts as backup for front desk and council shop
  • Keeps count of inventory
  • Follows directions well and a team player

Candidates must have a high school diploma and two years of customer service training; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  The candidate should possess good oral communication skills and knowledge of Outlook, Word and the Internet.  The ability to use a cash register as well as 10-key and type a minimum of 35 wpm is required. The candidate must be willing to work outside in various climates and have ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 20 pounds while bending.  The employee should have the ability to work the following flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends:  Memphis –February 17th thru April 2nd, (hours may be extended based on the need). The Research and Evaluation Specialist will work from the Memphis, TN location to ensure a high quality experience for girls and volunteers by advising on the creation of evaluation tools which assess member experiences and outcomes.

 

Brief Summary:

  • Develops and implements an overall evaluation and research strategy related to the council’s strategic goals
  • Leads and oversees the implementation of data collection and data collection instruments and procedures to ensure a systematic approach to assessing the impact of the council’s work is developed
  • Designs and conducts research and analysis studies on topics of importance to the council and its constituencies, with particular focus on outcomes measurement of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience
  • Connects council work with nationally developed tools and research
  • Works with key members of management to assess how impact can best be measured and develops ways to collect data and analyze results;
  • Plays a key role in the continuous education of staff regarding impact and evaluation results

 

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or two to three years experience in evaluations and surveying.  The candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite and the Internet.  The ability to plan, prioritize and work in a team environment as well as work independently is also required. The candidate should possess strong analytical and organizational skills and great attention to detail.  The Research and Evaluation Specialist should be able to quickly learn new software and foster contributions from people with diverse backgrounds.
