Job Announcement: Kelly Services/Nike is currently Hiring candidates for the positions of Pickers,Packers, Raymond Reach Forklift Operators and Maintenance Techs. All shifts are available at both Nike locations. 3100 Frayser Blvd (Northridge) 5151 E Shelby Dr. (Shelby Drive).

Nike shifts are the following Northridge 1st shift 6am-4:30pm / 2nd shift 5pm-3:30pm Shelby Drive 1st shift 6:30am-4pm or 7am-3:30pm/ 2nd shift 4:00pm-12:30am or 4:30pm-1:00am Weekend Sat Sun Mon 7am-7:30pm.
Requirements are High School Diploma or GED and a current valid ID such as a Driver’s License or State ID.

Returns- reclamation Associate

ProLogistix Memphis, TN 2/5/2014
1. Receives returned goods from customers and vendors.
2. Verifies merchandise returned from customer matches the Return Authorization, UPC/NDC codes and size/strength of product as appropriate.
3. Verifies quantities returned match the quantities indicated on the Return Authorization.
4. Determines whether returned merchandise is in sale-able condition and forwards for restocking; prepares non-sale-able merchandise for return to the supplier or forwards for destruction.
5. Ships returns to vendors using proper shipping documents as required; works with vendor sales representatives to return merchandise to manufacturers.
6. Compiles and logs information regarding records of shipment, such as ship date, debit memo, quantity and list of merchandise shipped.
7. Checks for products that have been returned which will not be accepted or returned by suppliers and prepares packages to send back to customer. 8. Resolves discrepancies in morgue inventory counts with appropriate inventory control associate.
9. Receives information regarding merchandise that has been recalled and handles appropriately.
10. Processes and performs data entry of returned items from customers and vendors.
11. Organizes and maintains accurate records of all returned merchandise. 12. Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
13. Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
14. Must be able to participate in physical inventory.
15. Operates forklift, electric pallet jacks, order selectors, and/or pallet shrink wrap machines as needed.
16. Performs related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
a. Required:
i. High School Diploma or GED equivalent
ii. One (1) to three (3) years of warehouse experience with a working knowledge of distribution center workflow
b. Preferred:
i. Previous experience operating Hi-Lo, Cherry Pickers, Fork Lift, Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, etc.
ii. Prior experience managing or supporting returns activities
c. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
2. LANGUAGE ABILITY:   Must possess functional literacy with the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
3. MATH ABILITY: Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
4. COMPUTER SKILLS: Experience using software programs including UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and navigating WMS, ERP and RF systems in an AS400-type environment desirable.
5. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form, including SOPs and work instructions, with minimal supervision. Ability to recognize exceptions to SOPs and to escalate to appropriate supervisors or designate per directions within SOP.
1. Ability to operate in a production-driven environment and perform at the required standards.
2. Physical activity requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, pulling, carrying, balancing, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking and hearing.
3. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

MATERIAL HANDLER NORTHRIDGE UNIT PICK B2 SHIFT

Job Location: Memphis, TN

As our Material Handler, you’ll perform various general warehouse duties at our distribution facility in Memphis, TN. You’ll process orders for shipment, including picking, packing, checking and restocking. You’ll also handle computer data inquiries and special processing of customer orders. In addition, you’ll operate lift equipment and handle other general duties as assigned. This posting is for multiple openings.

Qualifications
Requirements for the position include:
– High School diploma or GED
– 6 months’ experience in a warehouse/distribution or manufacturing environment
– Familiarity with computer inquiries and data entry
– Able to read and count accurately and follow verbal and written directions
– Able to perform repetitive motions and lift 20-40 lbs continuously with or without reasonable accomodation
– Able to work overtime as needed with little or no advance notice
– Experience operating lift equipment is preferred
