FREE FACE MASKS AVAILABLE ONCE AGAIN AT SHELBY COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH CLINICS

SHELBY COUNTY, TN – Beginning June 11, 2020, the Shelby County Health Department will once again dispense fabric face masks to the public at 814 Jefferson and its other public health facilities located around Shelby County.

The masks, provided in partnership with Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s Unified Command Group, have been declared safe for human use by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Tennessee Department of Health.

The masks are treated with a chemical called Silvadur 930, an antimicrobial that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria.  Many fabrics are treated with Silvadur 930, including sheets, pillow cases, athletic wear and underwear.

According to the EPA, once Silvadur 930 is incorporated into the fabric, it is extremely unlikely it would be inhaled; therefore, the EPA considers inhalation exposure to be negligible and not a health concern.

The masks may be picked up, while supplies last, at all Shelby County Health Department locations listed below during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., with the exception of the Collierville clinic, which is open Tuesday and Thursday only. No appointment is needed to pick up a mask.

Help Pastor David Gillard and the Faith Center family feed 20 OR MORE families AND feed another 80 OR MORE homeless. They’re thankful for the people who have already been a blessing!

They want to use half for gift cards for dinner for a night for families and half for homeless grab bags. They literally ran out last time and it broke hearts to turn the others away. Life can change in the blink of an eye for ANYONE; be thankful.

So as you donate, they donate. Faith Temple serves some form of outreach EVERY WEEK, small or large and privately. SO today’s CashApp Friday is dedicated to the FEED and bless others. Summer months are hard on families with children at home.

PASTOR’S ORIGINAL POST

David J. Gillard
June 4 ·

I need a 100 people to sow a $20 seed to help me feed a 100 people this week. Sow today into our outreach movement. The vsion is to supply dinner for 20 families (Dinner on The Kingdom) and feed 80 homeless brothers, sisters and kids. It’s easy to look over this post but it’s also easy to go from eating what you want to eating what you can.

Thanks in advance!
