BGC is for ALL girls ages 7-17 and exists to bring awareness to the under-representation of women of color in STEM. Workshops are $35 and there are scholarships available and opportunities to sponsor girls. Please see information below!
Join us for a fun and captivating educational experience where girls will learn about robots and how they communicate in an engaging atmosphere. They will combine hands-on activities using Lego WeDo/NXT kits with live demonstrations from area robotics organizations where the girls will interact with sophisticated robots, and learn real-world/business applications and use for robotics. **Bonus – girls will receive the new Engineering Barbie as a result of one of the newest partnerships between BGC and Mattel!
This class is intended for any and all girls ages 7-17.
Check-in begins at 9:00 AM. The event starts promptly at 10:00 AM.
Participants do not need to bring their own laptops. Lunch will be provided.
