This introductory course is designed for individuals who are considering self-employment, or are at the beginning stages of starting their business. This session helps aspiring entrepreneurs asses their abilities to lead and manage a company, as well as evaluate market and sales potential for their products/services.
Developing a Business Plan Part I – Narrative

Suggested Pre-requisite(s): Small Business Start-Up
This workshop will help you gain insights on why a business plan is important and the preparation needed to begin writing it. Major narrative components of a business plan will be discussed as well as resources provided to help you create a successful plan. Business plan financial projections are not covered in this training.
Developing a Business Plan Part II – Financial Projections
Date: Thursday, June 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Suggested Pre-requisite(s) Small Business Start-Up & Developing a Business Plan Part I – Narrative
This workshop will help empower you to prepare your projected financials and will review the Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet. Each attendee is requested to bring a completed start-up cost summary.
