Sales & Use Tax Workshop
Date: Thursday, January 5th  from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Attention new business owners!  This workshop will discuss preparing a sales and use tax return. Topics include tangible personal property, tax enforcement procedures, franchise & excise taxes, business taxes, TNTAP & E-filing, and more.  Get your tax questions answered early in 2017!

 

Resources to Empower You: Developing a Winning Business Plan
Date: Thursday, January 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

This workshop will help you gain insights on why a business plan is important and the preparation needed to begin writing it. Major components of a business plan will be discussed as well as the supporting documentation needed for an effective plan.

This class will offer training on various types of financing that include SBA guaranteed lending, traditional lending practices, and non-traditional lending practices. After class participants will have an understanding of lender financing, investor financing, crowdfunding and non-debt based financing.
