Town Hall Meeting to Discuss Child Support
Discussion will be held December 20th at 6:00 p.m., Pursuit of God Church, 3171 Signal St., Memphis.
The goal is to help solve the individual problems and come up with global solutions through the legislative process. State Rep. Antonio Parkinson and Sen. Lee Harris will hear from constituents who have concerns about child support, custody, paternity, visitation and grandparents rights

MEMPHIS, TENN –State Rep. Antonio Parkinson and Sen. Lee Harris are partnering for a town hall discussion on child support issues impacting the community. Juvenile Court Judge Dan Michael, Maximus (the company that has a contract to administer child support payments), DCS, DHS, and Youth Dimensions are also invited.
The purpose of the meeting is to hear the challenges citizens are dealing with to better assist them. Paternity, visitation rights and slow child support payments are common complaints Parkinson’s office receives on a regular basis.
