The Mayor’s office is sponsoring an event, the 2016 Manhood University Fatherhood Conference, on Saturday, July 9th, 2016. It will be an all-day event held at the Pipkin Building, and Tiger Lane, and is geared towards empowering, inspiring, and celebrating men, fathers, and father-figures from all walks of life!
We need to know if you can assist us by volunteering for set-up on Friday, July 8th, from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, and/or Saturday). As Saturday is event day, if you cannot stay the entire day, (7:30 am – approximately 4:30 pm), please let me know what times(s) you can work. Shifts for Saturday are : 7:30 am – 12:00 noon, 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm, 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm
There will be a Volunteer Information Day on Thursday, July 7th, 2016 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm in room LL-56 at the Benjamin L. Hooks Library. This will be the session where event instructions and assignments will be given.
We will need volunteers for the following:

- Session Proctors (Sat)
- Food Station Monitors (Breakfast)
- Food Station Monitors (Lunch)
- Peddle-cart Game Monitors *
- Water slide Monitors*
- Face-painting Station Assistants
- Laser Tag Game Monitors*
- Breakdown/ Clean-up team*

The sections with an asterisk * will be stationed mainly outside.
