Choose901 Invades New York
October 21, 2015 – Choose901 is excited to announce it will host “Choose901 Week In New York,” next week October 25-29th. This week will be jam packed with opportunities for Choose901 to connect with professionals in New York about jobs in Memphis. We’re featuring openings from Shelby Farms Park, LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, Muddy’s, International Paper, Grizzlies, Leadership for Education Equity and more!
Choose901 will kick off the week with a little piece of the Bluff City, by hosting a meet and greet for folks at BB Kings in Time Square. Throughout the days, Choose901 will hang out at several colleges and connect with students, including: Columbia, King’s College, NYU, and City College. Choose901 will cap the New York week with a Grizzlies Watch Party. It’s opening night for the Grizz and you know we’re going to be watching, so why not invite New Yorkers to experience a little piece of the Grindhouse in the Big Apple?
The Greater Memphis Chamber is working in collaboration with Choose901to attract young talent to Memphis. Chamber staff and members of the Choose901 team will travel to New York City to host those events. While there, they will also be meeting with national media and bloggers to share the millennial Memphis story. Also traveling with the Chamber will be some members of the Chamber’s young professional council, SoundCheck.
