“Stand Beside Her” Week to Support Women and Girls

NATIONAL STAND BESIDE HER WEEK EVENTS – SUPPORT WOMEN AND GIRLS
Memphis, TN – Girl Scouts Heart of the South invites the public to join us to celebrate National Stand Beside Her Week during October 25–31, 2015. National Stand Beside Her Week is a nationwide initiative designed to inspire women to support, encourage and mentor other women in their careers and their lives.
Why do we need National Stand Beside Her Week? Because despite decades of progress, women are still under-represented in leadership roles in our nation’s government, business and industry. Girl Scouts Heart of the South is encouraging women and businesses to take one or more of the following positive actions next week:
