As a Buddy/Navigator, you have the awesome privilege of greeting an individual who is homeless at the door and becoming his/her buddy for the day!

By assisting your buddy in completing paperwork and serving as an advocate to ensure that he/she receives the services that they wish to take advantage of during the event, you play the most important role in the Project Homeless Connect process.

Available Shifts:
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Some may have difficulty reading or writing. Some may be afraid to approach service providers without reinforcement. Last year, at least 800 individuals attended Project Homeless Connect to receive services. This year’s event will require a much larger team of volunteers than we currently have…and the event is two weeks away.

Please select the shift that works best with your schedule. Lunch and an event t-shirt will be provided for all volunteers.  Volunteers who serve in this capacity must be at least 18 years of age.
