MULTICULTURAL CAREER EXPO CONNECTS CAREER OPPORTUNITIES TO JOB SEEKERS

(MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 1, 2015) – On Sunday, April 12th, career and internship seekers will have the opportunity to connect to local employers at the 2nd Annual Multicultural Career Expo. The event will take place from NOON to 5:00 PM at Hilton Memphis.

The Multicultural Career Expo has over 40 participating companies who will be present. Industries included are healthcare, financial services, travel, logistics, higher education, and non-profit.

The career expo will provide a comprehensive platform for all cultures to achieve their career goals and contribute to a greater Memphis.

The event is hosted by founding organization ContigoCreative and in partnership with  Think Inspired, and Copeland Coaching. Presenting Sponsors are FedEx, First Tennessee, and Hilton Memphis. Community Supporters include The City of Memphis, Mass Mutual Financial, Graduate Memphis, and Leadership Memphis. Community Friends include Regional One Health, Southland Park, and Ford Corporation. University Partners are Christian Brothers University, Rhodes College, Southwest Tennessee Community College, and LeMoyne-Owen College.

The event is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to register online at www.CareerExpoMemphis.com, where they will also find tips on how to prepare for the career expo.

“The Multicultural Career Expo is an all-inclusive, multicultural and diversified event. This event is to attract talent from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and immigrants from all over the world. We want to invite all minority communities including Latino, Asian, Middle-Eastern, European, African, Korean, Vietnamese, Indian, African-American, Chinese, Japanese, and all other communities. We want to showcase the Multicultural talent that Memphis has to offer,” said Alex Matlock of ContigoCreative.
