The City of Bartlett is hiring Summer Camp Counselors to conduct activities for campers ages 7-14 at the Bartlett Recreation Center. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, morning, afternoon and evening shifts, during he summer months, beginning at the end of May and continuing through the first week of August. Will be responsible for supervising children in a camp setting, as well as planning and implementing safe, fun, age appropriate activities. Must be able to communicate effectively and be responsible for proper maintenance and care of facility and equipment. Must be able to administer first aid when necessary.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age and have experience working with children leading games, sports or arts and crafts. Bartlett resident preferred, but not required. The City will provide CPR, first aid and AED training, if necessary. Must pass a background check and physical exam, including a drug screen and TB test.
Special Requirements
Will work in a non-smoking work environment.
