The Memphis Child Advocacy Center is offering Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training to staff and volunteers
One in ten children are sexually abused by the time they reach age 18. There is a solution—and you can help.

The Memphis Child Advocacy Center offers Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention training to staff and volunteers at child-serving organizations across our community. This fall, we are also offering several open enrollment sessions for adults interested taking the training. There is a $10 material fee per participant; some scholarships available. Pre-registration is required. The Stewards of Children sessions are scheduled at downtown locations, with ample parking, on the following dates:

· Wednesday, September 17, 1pm-4pm

· Saturday, September 27, 1:30pm-4:30pm

· Friday, October 10, 9am-12pm

· Saturday, October 11, 9am-12pm
Contact Keita Cooley at or (901)888-4362 to reserve your seat for one of these training sessions today.

When you take Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention training, you are prepared. You’ll know the steps families and organizations can take to guard children from predators. You’ll learn how to talk to your kids about sexual boundaries. And, if you suspect a child is in danger, you’ll be ready to take protective action. You will become part of a growing network of Shelby County adults (over 11,000 and counting) equipped to safeguard our community’s children.

The Memphis Child Advocacy Center supports safety for children through informed prevention, community collaboration, and a team approach to healing and justice for victims of child sexual and severe physical abuse.
