The Mix Up Movie Project – Students and Family Red Carpet Night, tackling Domestic Violence, Date Rate & more

Heal The Hood Foundation of Memphis, Shelby County School’s G.R.A.S.S.Y. Program, and Vision Power Media is about to tackle Domestic Violence in the form of Date Rape on college campuses. We will be presenting the film, “The Mix Up” as  Red Carpet Premiere at The Malco Majestic Movie Theater on September 11, 2014 at 6:30pm. The Red Carpet interviews will take place from5:50pm – 6:20pm and the film will screen at 6:30pm. We would love to have you as our special guests. This film is appropriate for families, students, and the general public. We do not recommend it for students under the age of 12.

This project will be used to create dialogue that leads to healing. The project is on target to be presented to a national audience. The screening in Memphis will speak volumes as to how we are doing our part to impact those that have been victims. We are reaching out to all sides of city government, churches, schools and the community to make this a well attended events that brings forth positive results. Please RSVP by calling 901-482-1615.
