JOB TITLE: Account Executive

JOB SUMMARY: The KQ account executive will create and execute PR and marketing communications strategies, manage client accounts and maintain relationships with existing and future clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage assigned accounts and assist on colleague accounts

· Develop and implement strategic marketing/communications plans for KQ clients

· Develop and implement public relations plans for KQ clients

· Oversee the development of marketing materials

· Serve as project manager for events, such as (but not limited to): press conferences, conferences, focus groups, promotions and research projects

· Provide clear and understandable directives to the assistant account executive or graphic design manager for projects under your management

· Develop and conduct presentations for KQ clients

· Conduct workshops on marketing or public relations

· Copywriting for stories, websites, marketing materials, social media posts and more

· Assist with general administrative office duties

· Develop creative videos

· Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·  Effective negotiation and closing techniques

· Social media skills

· Proficiency with Final Cut Pro or similar editing software

· Strong analysis and judgment skills

·  Works well in a team environment

·  Availability to work some late nights and weekends

 

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

· College degree in public relations, marketing or related field

· Minimum of five (5) years related experience
