DESCRIPTION: The RS Monitor will have the responsibilities of being the direct caregiver for client’s and assist clients with basic needs while being a positive adult role model, actively supervising clients and assuring completion of assigned duties/chores, assist with client activities in the building and in community, maintaining key control, communicating problematic situations to supervisors, assist with dispensing medications, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or G.E.D. * Requires a minimum of one year of experience working with at risk youth. * Able to set limits and maintain the positive role and the ability to intervene appropriately to meet the needs of the client’s served. *Ability to exhibit initiative in reporting concerns/issues to the Site Manager. * Possess a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record. *Record keeping skills to maintain legible, accurate, up-to-date maintenance logs so that information is readily researched and retrieved. * Effective oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people. * Ability to perceive and deal with sensitive issues while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity. * Organizational skills to work with minimal supervision and to determine workload priorities in order to balance a heavy workload.
